Valeria Cafe
Valeria Café is the Executive Director of Knowledge, Policy and Chapters of the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (IBGC). Among other activities, Valeria leads the Chapter Zero Brazil, an arm of the climate governance initiative (CGI).
Valeria is also a board member of Instituto Luisa Pinho Sartori and guest professor of Corporate Governance and communications at FGV University.
During her career, Valeria has led the institutional affairs, marketing, communications and sustainability areas of Coca-Cola, Whirlpool, HP & J.P. Morgan in Brazil and Latin America. She has also worked for PR and government affairs agencies in the region.
Valeria is graduated in advertising and marketing with master’s in administration and internationalization. She has also been an advisory member of GRI Brazil, ISE – the business sustainability index of B3 – and one of the founders of the Institute of Government Relations in Brazil, where she has been a board director for 4 years.
