Sarah Relich

Sarah Relich leads Vanguard’s Investment Stewardship team responsible for proxy voting and engagement across the EMEA and APAC regions.  The team is responsible for promoting strong corporate governance practices on behalf of Vanguard’s internally managed equity funds.  Sarah also leads the program’s communications function, which is responsible for conveying Investment Stewardship’s perspectives to fund investors, portfolio companies, and other market participants.  Before her current role, she held senior roles on Vanguard’s Investment Stewardship team covering the Americas region. Previously, she was an investment analyst in Vanguard’s Investment Strategy Group, where she led research on environmental, social, and governance topics.

Prior to Vanguard, Sarah served as a Teach For America corps member.  She earned a B.A. from Kenyon College, an M.S.Ed. from The Johns Hopkins University, and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
