Biography

Toru Terasawa joined Asset Management One(AMO) in October 2016 when AMO was established as Head of Responsible Investment Group, and has since been leading its Stewardship activities , voting and passive investment engaging with investee companies.

Before joining AMO, he joined Fuji Banking Co., Ltd (currently Mizuho Bank, Limited.) from 1988. At Mizuho, he was responsible for fixed income and FX trading, setup and led securitization products investment, ALM (Asset Liability Management) and was the head of sub-custody.

He has contributed to several study groups hosted by METI; “ITOU REPORT 3.0”, Digital Governance Code, GX finance WG.

Graduated from Faculty of Engineering University of Tokyo.

1988年富士銀行(現みずほ銀行)入行。金利デリバティブや外国為替トレーディング、市場企画、証券化商品などのクレジット投資の立ち上げや、総合資金部ALM（Asset Liability Management）市場部門業務を牽引。後に証券決済業務室長としてカストディ業務を担当。2015年よりみずほ投信投資顧問（現アセットマネジメントOne)運用企画部長。2016年10月アセットマネジメントOne発足時より責任投資部長を務め2022年よりエグゼクティブESGアドバイザー。

経済産業省の「伊藤レポート3.0」など各種委員、人的資本経営コンソーシアム企画委員等を歴任。ジャパン・スチュワードシップ・イニシアティブ運営委員長
