Nerea Vázquez García

Law graduate from CEU San Pablo University, with a special degree in EU Law. DESUP (Diplôme d’Études Supérieures) in EU economy and law from Université Panthéon I-Sorbonne. Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the Spanish Diplomatic School.

In 2014 I joined the Spanish National Securities Market Commission, the CNMV, where I first worked in the Investor Department until 2017 and since then to nowadays in the Financial and Corporate Governance Reports Department, where I work as a senior analyst being my tasks focused in analysing the corporate governance and director’s remuneration framework in listed companies, including participation in international fora (mainly ESMA) focused also on these topics, as well as in analysing compliance with other corporate obligations applicable to listed companies for which the CNMV is the competent authority.
