Helle Bank Jørgensen

Board members and executives in over 50 countries hold Competent Boards ESG, Climate and Biodiversity Designation and Certificate thanks to Helle’s visionary online and bespoke education programs.

Her vision is that board members, investors, and those advising them need to be informed about ESG, climate and other material issues that shape business of today - How can you make informed business decisions if you aren’t informed?

She serves at the Nasdaq Center for Board Excellence’s Sustainability & ESG Insights Council, the World Economic Forum (WEF) Expert Network for Corporate Governance, Leadership, and Emerging Multinationals, and Accounting for Sustainability (A4S) established by HM King Charles III, among other roles.

Her recent book, Stewards of the Future: A Guide for Competent Boards has become an Amazon bestseller on board governance.  

Helle is a Business Lawyer and a State Authorized Public Accountant (Denmark) with an MSc in Business Administration and Auditing. In 2023, she received the Globe and Mail 50 Changemakers Award and was named one of the Top 50 Influencers to Follow by Onalytica.  In 2022 she was named one of Canada’s Most Powerful Women by the Women’s Executive Network, among other awards.
