Franziska Zimmerman

Franziska a Director for Sustainability & Climate Change Strategy at Temasek, a global investment company headquartered in Singapore. She leads the development of the firm’s overarching sustainability frameworks, policies, practices and disclosures. She also spearheads Temasek’s participation in sustainability focused industry platforms and global policy processes. Since joining the firm in 2015 Franziska played a pioneering role in establishing the firm-wide ESG programme, defining an ambitious climate change agenda, forming an external sustainability advisory group as well as an engagement platform for portfolio companies focused on sustainability.

Prior to joining Temasek Franziska held various senior positions across Europe and Asia in publicly listed multinational companies in the agricultural, healthcare and consumer sectors as well as in government. She holds a Masters degree in Law. Franziska serves as a member of the ESG Committee of the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID) as well as the Expert Panel on ESG and Sustainable Investing at Singapore’s Wealth Management Institute (WMI).
