Biography

Andrea leads Addenda’s Stewardship efforts. Stewardship includes active engagement with companies and issuers on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) matters to enhance the long-term value of investments for clients. This also includes actively promoting sustainable financial markets by collaborating with experts and engaging with standard-setters and policymakers to create a more sustainable and net-zero aligned economy and market.

Previously, Andrea was the Vice President of the Ivey Foundation where she used her expertise to build collaborations based on strong research, governance structures, action plans and policy recommendations to address complex societal and economic challenges. She specifically focused on the role of sustainable finance and expanding capital allocation to the transition to net-zero.  Andrea was also the Vice President of the Corporate Program at Ceres, where she led the work with business on sustainability issues such as climate, energy, water, and supply chains. 

She is a skilled facilitator and sought-after speaker on sustainability issues. Andrea is on the advisory boards of the Institute for Sustainable Finance (ISF), Smith School of Business Queens University, and the Canadian Climate and Law Initiative, Peter A. Allard School of Law, University of British Columbia, as well as serving on the board of the International Institute of Sustainable Development – Experimental Lakes Area (IISD-ELA).
