2001年から、ジェイ・ユーラス・アイアール株式会社にて、IR活動及びコーポレート・ガバナンスに関するコンサルティングを行う。2015年よりボードルーム・レビュー・ジャパン株式会社の代表取締役に就任、数多くの企業の取締役会評価の支援を実施。

金融庁・東京証券取引所の有識者会議において、コーポレートガバナンス・コードおよびスチュワードシップ・コードの改訂に携わる。

主要著書・論文に、「取締役会評価のすべて – 取締役会の実効性を高めるための実務と課題 –」中央経済社 (2020年1月）、「サステナビリティ経営と取締役会─サステナビリティ・ボードの時代へ─上・下」『商事法務』 2267号（2021年7月5日）、2268号（2021年7月15日）などがある。

東京大学経済学部卒、エール大学経営大学院卒 MBA 取得。東京大学大学院人文社会系研究科博士課程修了、博士号取得（社会情報学）。

Yoshiko is Vice Chairperson of J-Eurus IR Co., Ltd., which she co-founded in 2000. At J-Eurus IR, Yoshiko has been engaged in investor relations and corporate governance consulting for Japanese companies. In 2015, she was appointed as Director of Japan Board Review Co., Ltd., which is a subsidiary of J-Eurus IR, and has provided support for board evaluations of numerous Japanese companies.

Yoshiko has been an active member of international and domestic corporate governance associations. She has been a member of ICGN since 2003. She served on ICGN Board of Governors from 2010 to 2015. Yoshiko serves on the board of Japan Corporate Governance Network (JCGN) since 2010.

She is a member of the Council of Experts Concerning the Follow-up of Japan’s Stewardship Code and Japan’s Corporate Governance Code (FSA and Tokyo Stock Exchange) and has worked on revisions of both codes. She is also a member of the Asset Management Policy Study Group of the Pension Fund Association for Local Government Officials, the second largest public pension fund in Japan.

She received her BA in Economics from the University of Tokyo, her MBA from Yale School of Management, and her PhD in Socio-Information and Communication Studies from the University of Tokyo.
