Senior Manager, Regulatory and Market Initiatives

Claire manages the Regulatory & Market Initiatives team in Computershare’s Global Capital Markets group, analysing and responding to strategic developments across international markets on behalf of Computershare. Areas of focus have included global developments and reform in relation to shareholder transparency, shareholder communications and proxy voting; efforts to standardise issuer communications; and dematerialization initiatives in several markets.  She is also a key contributor to the development of global services solutions for Computershare’s clients.


Claire worked for several years with the Australian Stock Exchange managing regulatory policy and compliance issues relating to trading, clearing and settlement. Prior to joining Computershare in 2001, Claire spent two years in Ireland managing special projects for Davy Stockbrokers, with a major focus on delivering an internet-based trading system and multi-currency cross-border execution services.


Claire has more than 20 years’ experience in the securities industry, particularly focusing on regulatory and operational issues in settlement, and securities registration and administration across major international markets.  She holds a Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Laws from Macquarie University in Australia.
