Global Network of Investor Associations

The Global Network of Investor Associations (GNIA) is an international collaboration of investor-led organisations with a common interest in promoting shareholder rights and responsibilities. It has members drawing from  Australia, Brazil, Canada, the EU, France, Germany, Hong Kong,  Italy, the Netherlands,  Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States.

The ICGN established the Global Network of Investor Associations (GNIA) in 2013 to enable national investor associations to share priorities around corporate governance, shareholder rights and responsibilities beyond local jurisdictions to an international audience thereby contributing to global reform efforts. Currently co-chaired by the Council of Institutional Investors (CII) and ICGN, members are drawn from Australia, Brazil, Canada, the European Union, France, Germany,  Italy,  the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the United States. The GNIA meets quarterly and meeting summaries are publicly available (above).
