Dr. Hwang Oonkyong

Dr. Hwang Oonkyong. is a Team Leader of Sustainable Strategy Team at Hanwha Asset Management and an Affiliated Professor of Yonsei University Graduate School of Law. She is responsible for overall ESG strategy for the company, including organizing the ESG Committee, Proxy Voting, ESG Rating, Research, Monitoring, and Engagement.

Before joining Hanwha, she served as a Team Leader of Legal System Team at Daishin Economic Research Institute, also as a Researcher at Korea Capital Market Institute. She also serves as the Director of Korea Economic Law Association, Korea Commercial Cases Association, Korea Banking and Financial Law Association and Korean Academy of Financial Consumers.

Dr. Hwang earned her LL.B., Master of Law and Ph.D in Corporate Law from Yonsei University. She has published numerous academic papers and reports on corporate governance and corporate law.
