Bangsil Lee

Bangsil Lee is Head of ESG Strategy at SK hynix. She is responsible for overall ESG strategy for the company, including organizing the ESG Management Committee, Carbon Management Committee, and Climate Change Roundtable.

Prior to joining SK hynix in 2021, she worked as a business journalist at the Dong-A Ilbo (Dong-A Business Review) where she wrote numerous articles on creating shared value (CSV), social impact, and sustainability strategy. She also worked at Oliver Wyman (Seoul) where she helped Korean companies to develop and implement globalization and growth strategies. She holds a Ph.D. in engineering from the Technology Management, Economics and Policy Program at Seoul National University and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. She has a B.A. in English Language Education from Seoul National University.
