Disclosure of Personal Details

Networking between members is an important way of sharing corporate governance ideas and experience.

On this website in the public area, there is an A to Z Directory of current ICGN members (see menu on the left to access this). This only shows members' names and affiliation. In the Members' area, which is restricted to current ICGN members, fuller contact details including address, telephone and email are made available.

Data protection legislation in force in Europe, however, dictates that any information about individuals can only be disclosed with permission. On joining the ICGN, therefore, you will be asked to indicate whether or not you would like your name and your contact details to be made available. There are three options, as follows:

	Network: where your personal details appear in the restricted Members' area only;
	None: where your personal details do not appear on the site at all;
	Public: where your personal details appear in the public and Members' area.

Personal contact details will never be supplied by the ICGN to third parties.

Existing members who wish to select or change their disclosure option if they have not already done so should notify the ICGN Secretariat.
