Welcome to the ICGN

The ICGN is a global membership organisation of over 500 leaders in corporate governance based in 50 countries with a mission to raise standards of corporate governance worldwide. We invite you to join the ICGN and share your experiences, knowledge and expertise with fellow decision-makers in corporate governance from around the world.

ICGN members are largely institutional investors who collectively represent funds under management of around US$18 trillion. The breadth and expertise of ICGN members from investment, business, the professions and policymaking extends across global capital markets.

The ICGN Nominating Committee consultation on 2012 Board Nominations is now open. Members can download the below papers on the Members’ Homepage, via secured login:

  • Letter from Bill Crist, Chairman of the Nominating Committee
  • Attachment 1: information relevant to the composition of the ICGN Board and relevant nominating procedures
  • Attachment 2: form to be completed by board candidates identifying the names of 3 supporters
  • Attachment 3: form to be completed by each supporter of the board candidate

2012 ICGN London Conference, United Kingdom, 19- 20 March

The ICGN 2012 Conference will take place in London, United Kingdom, 19- 20 March at the Guildhall. The conference is co-hosted by City of London and NEST Corporation.

An important theme of our London conference is the interim findings on the Kay review into long termism with a focus on alignment and accountability along the investment chain. We will also explore lessons to be drawn from the EC Green Paper on Corporate Governance. Over 250 delegates will bring a global perspective to the debate from some of the largest investment houses and corporations in the world.
