2009, November 18-19 - Washington DCThe next 2009 ICGN Mid-year Conference takes place in Washington DC. The conference is hosted by the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and will focus on improving dialogue between the corporate director and shareholder communities toward the mutual objective of improving long term corporate sustainability.
It will be held at the JW Marriott hotel on the 19 of November and is preceded by a Dinner on the 18.

2010 ICGN Mid-Year Conference Will shareholders rise to the ownership challenge? Ensuring regulatory and structural reform brings results.
The first ICGN Conference of 2010 was hosted by the City of London and took place at the Guildhall. An international line-up of speakers will debates whether shareholders, in this climate of regulatory uncertainty, can effectively take up the ownership mantle and be actively engaged with the companies. Speakers included Sir David Walker, author of the Walker Review of Corporate Governance in UK Banks and Financial Institutions; Lord Paul Myners CBE, Financial Services Secretary to the Treasury and Sir Christopher Hogg, Chairman of the UK Financial Reporting Council, along with Antoine de Salins, Executive Director of the French Fonds de Réserve pour les Retraites; Richard Lapthorne CBE, Chairman of Cable & Wireless, and Finn Johnsson among many others.
