ICGN Scholarships |

Introduction |
| The ICGN will offer a number of ICGN Scholarships to individuals working or researching in the field of corporate governance. The ICGN Scholarships are awarded to those from low income countries who would benefit from the opportunity to participate in the debate and contribute their own experience at the ICGN Annual Conference. |
ICGN Scholarships provide financial assistance towards the following expenses:
Travel (economy class)Accommodation in Seoul
Conference registration fee
One-year free ICGN membership
Note that candidates are responsible for organising their own visa applications and associated costs. |
| Selection criteria |
Individuals may be eligible to apply for an ICGN Scholarship if they meet the following criteria:
The candidate can demonstrate an active role in working, or research, in the field of corporate governance;
The candidate provides two references, one of which should be from the institution with whom the candidate is affiliated. |
| The application process |
The deadline for applications, 30 May 2008, has been passed. The ICGN Board will now decide on the award of scholarships considering the selection criteria, available financial resources and regional balance. Successful candidates will be notified in advance of the Conference.
